Holloway’s Doggy Dash Run/Walk

Looking to “Run Wild” on a great cross country venue? Does your dog need to get out for a run? Sign up for Holloway’s Doggy Dash Run/Walk 5k to test you and your pup’s shape over a beautiful fresh spring morning on the grassy scenic views of Holloway Park. (2402 Holloway Park Dr. Lakeland FL 33803, Both entrances will be open @ 6:30 AM). PLEASE READ BELOW!
Non-Dog Attached (Open Race) 5k Start: 8 AM
Dog Attached (Dog racing with you) 5k Start: 8:30 AM
1 Mile Fun Run Start: 9 AM
PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE CORRECT RACE WHETHER YOU ARE RACING WITH YOUR DOG OR NO DOG!
Rules: Please Follow!
- -All dogs must be on non-retractable 4-6 FT leashes, if not you will be asked to leave for the safety of other people and dogs
- Please keep distance from other dogs as best as possible to avoid issues
- All dog owners are responsible and liable for their dogs (Please attempt to keep them on best behavior)
- All Dog breeds welcome with the assumption of good behavior (Name, breed, weight, vaccines updated, age all filled out with registration)
- Extra Doggy bags and trash cans will be around the course for picking up, PLEASE use them accordingly
- Water Stations will be available for runners and dogs throughout the course
- We want this to be a fun, unique race event for the city of Lakeland, so please be aware of your dogs and help pick up after them while keeping park clean and behavior in mind
Race Details
Entries: Unlimited!!! Official Race Day Dog Charms to Top 125 Racers in both attached and unattached Dog Races! All registered runners with dogs at the 8:30AM start will receive a fun size Doggy Treat at the finish line as well for the pups. Water and finish line snacks will be available also.
Top Award to Overall winner Male and Female and Masters Winners in both open and dog bound races.
