Keith Brantly

Keith Brantly is a very motivational athlete, especially when it comes to the sport of cross country. He started out his career at Winter Haven High School. He attended the University of Florida for his bachelors degree in Health science inclined towards physical education. While attending the University he became a four time All-American. He was the champion of the 10,000 meter race in both 1982 and 1983. He was an All- American on outdoor tracks, indoor tracks, and also as a cross country runner. He competed at the Olympic trials in 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, and 2000. While competing at the Olympic trials he raced in the 5k, 10k, and the marathon. In 1996 he was selected to be part of the U.S. Olympic marathon team. He is now a motivational and inspirational speaker for several events. Keith is a 12-time member of the United States national track, road runners, and cross country team. He won the road racing championship seven times now. He has appeared on National geographic, the Oprah Winfrey talk show, and has been on the cover of runners  world magazine. He is now part of both the hall of fame for the University of Florida and the Road Runners Club of America.
